Internet magazine reeD and FEDORIV Hub present project «Principles of Economics». This is the second season of weekly lecture «Economy Lab» where well-known experts talk about constructing of the economy, society and the state.
What is the company from the point of economist’s view? How economists explain why the firm is so different in size, range, geographical location, academic performance? How long live medium-sized enterprise? Where are boundaries of the firm? Why some companies are combined into vertical structure while others don’t? What are the strategies of companies in the market? At the presentation “Theory of the firm” we will consider the answers to these questions.
Speaker: Volodymyr Vakhitov holds a postition of Assistant professor and of Senior Economist at KSE. Volodymyr was awarded with various grants and fellowships among which were several tuitions for education at the Kentucky university and individual research grants from Global Development Network and Economic Education and Research Consortium.
